Parks & Recreation

One of Fairfield Terrace Belmont’s key advantages is its proximity to Fort Wayne’s network of parks and trails. Here are some favorites right at your doorstep:

The playground at Kettler Park, filled with tall blue and cream play structures, and with a tan park ground. There is a path cutting through the lower left corner with a grass area separating it from the playground.

Nestled right within the neighborhood, Kettler Park offers a 6.3 acres of land including a playground, pavilion, and basketball courts, plus pickleball/tennis courts to keep you active. Its spacious pavilion, complete with a historic fireplace, can be rented from FortWayneParks.org for gatherings and events, making it a neighborhood hub for celebrations and weekend fun.

A short drive or bike ride away, Foster Park features walking trails, a golf course, and picnic areas beneath mature trees. Residents often visit for a round of golf, a scenic stroll along the river, or an afternoon outing with family and friends.

For those who love the outdoors, the River Greenway is a highlight of the 07 area. Enjoy boating, fishing, and picturesque walks right by the water, connecting to a vast trail system that extends throughout Fort Wayne.
